Sakura or cherry blossom symbolizes spring’s fleeting beauty and new beginnings. This delicate furoshiki design reflects the philosophy of appreciating impermanence that defines Japanese aesthetics. Beautifully versatile and sustainable, this furoshiki brings a sense of refined simplicity to any table or gift. Use it to wrap picnic lunches, everyday bento boxes, or seasonal gifts.

What is a Furoshiki?
Furoshiki is a traditional Japanese wrapping cloth, originally used to wrap and carry bath goods, but today it’s used in a range of scenes from everyday kitchen tasks to gift wrapping. The act of wrapping itself is a gesture of care — a quiet way of saying, “this is something special.” Made from soft yet durable fabric, it’s designed to be used over and over. The perfect blend of sustainability and style.

How to use a Furoshiki
-Wrap and carry bento boxes, lunch boxes, or picnic meals
-Cover bowls or plates to keep food fresh or protected
-Gift-wrap homemade treats like cookies, jams, or baked goods
-Create a makeshift napkin or a placemat

-Size: 19.7 in (W) x 19.7 in (H)
-Material: Cotton

-Wrap lunch boxes / containers: Place your box in the center. Fold two opposite corners over the box, then tie the remaining two corners together at the top—this forms a secure carry bundle.

-Cover dishes: Simply drape the cloth over your bowl or plate.

-Gift wrap: Lay your item diagonally on the cloth, fold the corners toward the center, and tie a knot to secure.

-Use as a placemat / napkin: Lay flat on the table or fold diagonally as a chic, reusable napkin.

-Hand wash only
-Air dry flat or hang dry
-Do not tumble-dry, which may shrink or distort the shape
-Avoid prolonged direct sun exposure when drying, to prevent fading
