The House of Umami is proud to work with professional chefs, private chefs, restaurants, catering services, hospitality managers, and sommeliers across the United States (except Guam, Alaska, and the US Virgin Islands).
Requirements for Pro Chef Access:
- You are an active culinary professional (chef, restaurant, catering, or related foodservice role).
- A business website, restaurant page, or professional Instagram account is required.
- A Federal Tax ID (TIN) is preferred for larger orders, but not mandatory for independent chefs.
How to Apply:
Complete the Pro Chef Application below. Once we review your application (usually within 1–2 business days), you’ll receive a confirmation email. After approval, you can log in anytime to access chef-only pricing, seasonal offerings, and exclusive products.

A business website, restaurant page, professional Instagram or LinkedIn account is required to verify your role. If you don’t have a public page, please include a brief note about your professional background.
No, however we prepare small quantities specifically for tasting. You can order starting from just one unit, so we encourage you to try it out.
If you are a registered business, yes. For independent chefs and small operations, a Tax ID is not required to get started.
We usually review applications within 1–2 business days. You’ll receive a confirmation email once approved.
We currently ship within the United States (excluding Guam, Alaska, and the US Virgin Islands).
