Rapeseed Oil crafted from 100% Japanese rapeseed variety, which represents only about 0.4% of Japan’s total rapeseed supply. This first-press oil is gently roasted at low temperatures for about 30 minutes to develop a subtle sweetness and nutty aroma, then mechanically expeller-pressed without the use of chemical solvents. While most oils are refined in hours, this one is slowly clarified over more than three days using a method passed down since 1909. Toasted, round, and savory with remarkable depth. Its resistance to high heat makes it ideal for deep fries and sautés, but its fragrant character also shines as a finishing oil.
