A harmonious full-bodied flavor unique to Japan’s heirloom wild mountain grapes. This rare grape beverage is a delicacy made from “Yama Sauvignon,” a hybrid of Cabernet Sauvignon and Yama Budou. Tucked into the mountainside of a 100% organic farm, and harvested only from 15+ year-old vines, Yama Budou wild mountain grapes are one of only two native heirloom grape varieties in Japan, and highly prized.
After a slow-crush, the juice of the grapes is then sealed in an airtight tank. Over five years of aging the juice, the cold mountain winters mellow all bitterness, creating a one-of-a-kind, heirloom grape beverage.
