This alcohol-free, wild mountain grape beverage is a delicacy made from “Yama Sauvignon” – a rare hybrid of Yama Budou and Cabernet Sauvignon. Tucked into the mountainside of a 100% organic farm, and harvested only from 15+ year-old vines, Yama Budou wild Japanese Mountain Grapes are one of only two native heirloom grape varieties in Japan, and highly prized.
After a slow-crush, the juice of the grapes is then sealed in an airtight tank, and aged three years. Cold mountain winters mellow all bitterness, creating a one-of-a-kind, heirloom grape beverage.
