Nambu Tekki is a centuries-old traditional craft from Japan's Iwate Prefecture. This renowned ironware is meticulously created by pouring molten iron into sand molds, a technique perfected over generations in the cities of Morioka and Oshu. Nambu Tekki products are celebrated for their durability, heat retention, and beautiful craftsmanship, making them a favorite among discerning chefs.

How to season your pan:
1. Wash with water using a scrubbing brush and pat it dry.

2. Heat over low to medium heat until the entire pan is warm, allowing any moisture to evaporate.

3. Lower the heat and add enough oil to cover the surface of the pan. Add chopped leafy vegetables and sauté them so the oil is evenly distributed.

4. After about 2 to 3 minutes of stir-frying, turn off the heat and remove the vegetables. When the pan cools down, rinse it lightly with water using a scrubbing brush.
