An umami trifecta of Rishiri Kombu, Makombu, and dried shiitake mushrooms. Rishiri Kombu is a flavorful yet mild kelp, while Makombu has a clear flavor with a slight sweetness. These two kelps are blended with dried shiitake mushrooms for umami harmony.

Place one dashi packet in a pot with 500ml of water and stir the packet about five times. Once the water comes to a boil, simmer over medium heat for 3 minutes before removing the packet. This dashi is suitable for simmered dishes, boiled tofu, mixed rice, etc.

Tear open the dashi pack and add the contents directly to dishes for a rich flavor. It can be used as a topping for salads, in pickles, and as a seasoning for dishes requiring a rich flavor.
